Owners Julianne and Joe Muench and the rest of our crew look forward to seeing you again if you're one of what has become a VERY large "extended family" at "The Body" Builder! If you haven't been in YET...we look forward to meeting you! C'mon, join the family!

Once upon a time, over two years ago now, the space now occupied by "The Body" Builder was occupied by Gospel Garden Bookstore. That store closed in December 2004. Julianne and Joe leased the space shortly thereafter, with the plan of starting a whole new Christian Bookstore. After briefly selling off Gospel Garden's old stock, the store was closed for close to three months for a gutting and radical remodeling. All new, fresh stock was ordered, a Cyber-Cafe was added, state-of-the-art interactive computer kiosks were installed allowing customers to find in-store or to order virtually ANY product, and "The Body" Builder Christian Bookstore officially opened on March 10, 2005, with the mission to "pump YOU up...Spiritually"!!

In addition to that major remodeling, two additional remodeling/expansion projects have taken place. In February 2006, another 500 square feet of space was added to the northwest area of the store, which now predominantly houses our extensive selection of Bibles, Bible Study Resources, Curriculum offerings, and Church Supplies. In May of 2006, a new combined Extreme Teen and Apparel section opened in the northeast area of the store, greatly expanding both of those departments, as well as freeing up space to expand the existing Music Department. All three areas now boast a much wider variety of offerings, and depth of product.

In other words, if you haven't been in lately...PARTICULARLY if you haven't been in since the store was Gospel Garden, you'll hardly (or not at all) recognize it! Actually, we can say that on almost a continual basis, because we're constantly trying to find new ways to deliver the freshest, best, most Biblically-sound products to "build up" YOUR spiritual body, and "The Body" of Christ as a whole. We try to accomplish that by 1) ALWAYS keeping the latest and best products available in-stock for you at all times...and 2) physically changing things around a little...or a lot! What can we say...we're variety junkies! Who likes a boring store? ; )
